WEDNESDAY WISH LIST #7 TOPSHOP SPECIAL

This week's wish list is entirely from the new stock in Topshop! I think their clothes are amazing at the moment - better online than in store (is it just me or do you never see half the stock in the actual shop?..)

Wednesday Wish List oo7

001 | I've noticed that Topshop seem to have fast forwarded straight to summer in their stock ( I found this gorgeous bikini...) including these lovely vintage style sunglasses! As I've said previously, I love sunglasses in Winter. When I lived in London I wore them all the time but it's not as acceptable up North!

002 | Next is this royal blue PJ Wrap Jumpsuit! I have been searching far and wide for a winter style jumpsuit and I think this is the one. It has a bit of a seventies feel with the lapels but the straight leg keeps it modern. These would look so cute with the holographic shoes!

003 | If there's one thing I've really become obsessed with this year, it's nail art. Following Wah Nails on Instagram has made me a full blown nail art addict. I constantly look for new designs on Pinterest/Instagram/Tumblr... Obsessed. You can see my poor attempt at the Wah daisy print here (not too bad for my first attempt with dotting tools!) I love these tropical nail stickers with little parrots on them! They will bring a nice bit of sun to this winter weather!

004 | I've really embraced the masculine tailoring this year especially in coats and dresses. I love the boxy shape of this Garden Floral Kimono with the feminine print. This would look so cute with a heavy coat and chunky boots!

005 | I'm yet to try Topshop nail polish! I've read so many good reviews about them but never had the chance to buy any! Our local branch doesn't sell them so I would have to venture over to Liverpool to check them out properly. This Croupier matte black polish looks lovely and gothic.

006 | For some reason, I didn't know Topshop sold watches. I've just never looked into it.. This Rock Scribble Heart watch by Zadig and Volitaire is the right balance of chunky gold yet dainty enough for the female wrist. The heart detail is really pretty and unique too.

007 | As I am forever mentioning, Topshop can do no wrong when it comes to boots. These are the Peace Chunky boots and probably the most expensive ones I've found but I just love the cutaway detail and the buckles.

008 | I really love plaid and I'm a bit scared for the end of winter, when it's all over and it seems really 'last season' by the time September comes round again. It's such a classic pattern and I think it should be appreciated all year round (in case you hadn't noticed, it's my favourite pattern!) I love these check cigarette trousers in a purple and green plaid. They would still look really sweet in Summer with loafers and a tie top.

009 | How cute is this necklace? I love a splash of colour against a dark winter palette but this would also be great for colour blocking!

010 | Every week I fall in love with a new coat and this week it's the Wool Notch Neck coat in a light mustard colour. It reminds of the same style coat Audrey Hepburn worn in Breakfast at Tiffany's but much more boxy. Again, this is another great item for colour blocking!

011 | I jumped on the holographic train far too late. After trying so hard to be a grown up, I give in and want my life to be silver and shiny. I desperately need these sandals but want that heel just a touch higher!

Wednesday Wish List oo5 The CHRISTMAS Special!

This was scheduled to run yesterday but for some reason it didn't work! Nevermind, check out Wish List #5!

Anyone else think that October lasted about five seconds? Now that Halloween and Bonfire Night are over, we can think about Christmas!

I'm getting really excited for Christmas this year. It's been a horrible few months and I just can't wait for roasted potatoes, Badger dressed as a reindeer and 'A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector' on repeat! And of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without hearing our favourite racoon eyed rock princess, Cindy Lou Who in The Grinch!

Here is my Christmas Wish List and I hope everyone is getting into the festive spirit!

It's no secret that The Whitepepper have become my favourite brand this year! They have the most beautiful oversized smock dresses and this gingham one is on sale at the moment! The angel cuff smocks are also adorable (if anyone wants to buy me one, I like the pink and check dresses :) These boots are amazing - heavy duty, black, chunky sole, everything I am looking for in a winter boot this year!

Because my outfits have become quite monochrome recently, I tend to reserve colour for accessories. These watches from The Watch Hut and are such festive colours - perfect for winter! Forever a Marc Jacobs girl, I am in love with this berry toned chronograph! The gold detail is subtle and the face is beautiful!
Obviously, you can't get away from Michael Kors these days and whilst I do love the rose gold MK watch, I think this Felicity watch is a bit more special. Emerald green is not a common colour for a watch face but it works! I would be happy to be sporting either of these this A/W (or maybe both!)
Yes, it's another chunky boot, but I couldn't get over the price of these Topshop Annys! I always assume all the boots in Topshop are a minimum of £70 and therefore never really buy anything.. These are only £42 and I love the style! Next are these Martie T-bar shoes in the sweetest holographic silver colour! These would look cute with a smock or some rolled up black jeans!

Has everyone noticed how amazing the clothes in ASOS are at the moment? Keeping with my smock obsession, how cute is this tartan cut off dress? I think the allure is the fact that you can each as much as you like under these dresses (perfect for Christmas day!) I love the sleeves on this floral smock too!
I can never have too many bags.. They are Badger's favourite chew toy and my two month old satchel has become her latest victim. This massive Shopper bag from H&M is perfect for cramming things into!

H&M A/W

Speaking of H&M does anyone ever remember that they sell homeware as well as clothes? After a quick browsing section I came away loving these items and the cost is amazing!
I seem to be collecting cookie cutters at the moment but I don't have any lip, moustache or dog shaped ones yet! This set is so sweet! And of course, when baking you need an apron to keep your self flour-less and a cake stand to present your beautiful goods!

My own wish list aside, I need to start Christmas shopping! I love buying gifts but can't stand how busy it gets in town. I think online shopping will be a must this year!

What are you wishing for this Christmas? I hope you're as excited as me!

Wednesday Wish List #4

So, I did something really stupid yesterday.. Still not entirely sure how it happened, but remember Wish List #2? The one with about 30 items (Tom Ford Lipstick, ASOS notebooks, Illamasqua Nail Varnish ...) that took all day for me to write? The most popular post on my page?

Well, I deleted it. I was going to edit something but then my hands went crazy and clicked delete..

So, sorry if you wanted to buy something from there but here's Wish List #4 for more ideas (or should it be called Wish List #3 now...?)
Wish List #4

1. I absolutely love the colour of this clutch from ASOS! It's made of faux pony hair which I think reflects light amazingly and you can also get it in yellow and acid pink!

2. Next, is this tea dress from Fashion Union in a dogtooth print under some scattered roses. This is a really cute, easy to wear dress which I would wear with tartan coat because clashing prints is definitely my favourite trend this season!

3. Jumpsuits are a great item that can be taken easily from daywear into evening. This Pink Sateen one from New Look is a lovely simple design and could be worn over a white shirt in the day and accessorised with gold at night. It also comes in three more colours including a rich navy shade and they're only £27.99!

4. Primark have upped their game like no other this A/W. This rusty red jumper is amazing and I love the winding rope features on the front. It looks a lot more expensive than the £16 price tag and would look really cool with some leather!

5. Yes, this is another pair of white shoes that I need to show you. I don't know what the obsession is but the price of these Martie Loafers from Topshop really got me - £32! They also come in so many other colours and variations. I love every pair!

6.  This chunky gold necklace is from my current favourite, Matalan. I recently got a chunky gold ID necklace from Ebay and whilst I love and wear it with everything, it's a little too lightweight and plastic. This one, however is perfect and would really cute with the New Look jumpsuit!

7. Lastly, for those who read yesterday's post you will have seen that I won a £100 giftcard to spend at Next. Today, new items have been added to the Winter collection and I am in love with this jacket! Such an amazing colour and would be a great evening coat. I'll have to decided if I'm going to have this one soon because it's almost sold out!

Keep an eye out this week for my Primark A/W favourites for this year. I'm currently trying to narrow it down to a bloggable amount!

Wednesday Wish List #1

So, I've decided, once a week to post all the items I have bookmarked for payday/when I'm really rich!
Most of these items are things I've come across on Polyvore or Ebay or just out in Chester town.
Wish List #1

1. Firstly, I know that everyone has shown this Lulu Guinness bag - BUT IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL! You can also get it in pewter and an amazing acid yellow shade. It's such a fun item and this dark berry shade is perfect for A/W!

2. Pineapple print is one of my favourites at the moment! It's definitely a summer print, but I'm going to keep it going this winter. This cotton dress from Gorman is really sweet and you can get a closer to home pineapple print dress here (and it's on sale!)

3. I've wanted a Marc Jacobs watch forever. Everyone has a Michael Kors one but for me, Marc is the one. I debated buying the grey chronograph for months but have now settled on this classic black one. It will go with everything I own and all my gold jewellery! You can get a similar looking one here!

4. Next is this faux leather pleated midi skirt from Warehouse, which is so perfect for A/W. I will be wearing this with my new block Chelsea boots (which I will share in another post!) and some cosy knitwear. This is a great item to transistion into evening wear too!

5. This cape from Zara is perfectly on trend. Tartan is already a big thing this season and I love a winter cape! It's a bit pricey (£159.00) but would make such a good investment when you think how much you will wear it!

6. So happy to say these Adriana heels from Kurt Geiger have been reduced! I've never really been a big fan of Kurt Geiger. Living near Liverpool means you get all the overly-made up Scouse girls repping the highest and brightest KG's they can find every weekend. However, I got a gift voucher for my birthday and have been pleasantly surprised by some of the more grown up shoes! These heels are amazing and I love the buckle detailing!

7. This embellished top from Topshop would perfectly compliment the rest of my wardrobe. I own a lot of patterned trousers and need some simple tops to match. The neckline on this is really sweet and the colour would look great with an all monochrome outfit!

8. Finally, I will never buy this Maison Scotch iPhone cover, I just had to show it to you! It's so so beautiful but I cannot justify spending nearly £40 on a case. However, I found a great alternative!

What is on your wish list this week?
